Description
This documentary features individuals who have grown up on farms and have found themselves at odds with their families and communities over the treatment of farm animals as well as those individuals who have dedicated their lives to rescuing and sheltering abused and neglected farm animals. Also featured is the contrast between the treatment of farm animals on our nation's factory farms and a new emerging philosophy of non-violence found at a growing number of farm animal sanctuaries, where both people and animals are viewed as individuals with inherent dignity and worth.
